In May 2016 the Municipality unveiled its urban regeneration design for Piazza Bianchini, in Iolo. The project was born within a participatory process that involved the citizens. They were able to express their opinions, offer suggestions and express requests to those in charge of the works in the Town Council.
The regeneration of the square will include the following: new paving; the installation of comfortable benches; the opening of alternative routes to ease traffic; reorganization of the signs around the square; refurbishment of the fountain.
It will also provide Wi-Fi access in the square, making it possible for people to browse the net on their mobile phones or PCs.
